Marcos Martinez, D.D.S.
As a member of the dental team here at Martinez Dental Group, my goal is to provide you with the highest quality of care, as well as address your comprehensive dental concerns. My passion for this profession continues to grow, and I believe that our dental team can achieve success when it comes to your oral health needs.
I began my path to dentistry in my hometown of Kingsville, Texas by attending Texas A&M University – Kingsville and earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree. After graduation, I obtained my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Being from a town similar to San Benito, my wife and I felt that this would be a perfect place to call home and raise a family.
I am a current member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Seattle Study Club Rio Grande Valley Chapter, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of General Practitioners for Orthodontics, and the Rio Grande Valley Dental Society. Being involved in these organizations enables me to attend several continuing education sessions and stay up-to-date with the advances in dentistry to better serve you.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, being involved with my children’s school and extra-curricular activities, traveling, and outdoor family gatherings. I also enjoy watching sports and attending sporting events. The Cowboys, Astros, Spurs, Javelinas and Greyhounds are some of the teams I enjoy rooting for during the season. As I continue to serve our community, I hope that our patients feel welcomed and cared for as part of our dental family. My goal is to maintain your continued dental health, and I look forward to seeing you in the office.
